RedCare Secure
RedCare secure is a latest secure intruder & fire monitoring from BT RedCare. Specially designed for homes and business clients to provide dual path signalling between Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4. RedCare secure comes with 3 different options (grades) RedCare secure 2 low risk premises, RedCare secure 3 medium risk premises, RedCare secure IP high risk premises. The RedCare secure 2 and 3 provide dual signalling to the alarm receiving center ( ARC ) via wireless network link uses Vodafone GPRS network as a primary signal. The secondary back up link is the fixed telephone line. The RedCare secure IP or broadband line is the primary signal to the ARC the back up is the Vodafone GPRS network.
RedCare secure can work on any telephone line no need for a dedicated BT line. There are no call charges when the system snignals to the alarm receiving center ( ARC ) Some traditional monitoring devices can cost £35-£55 per year for these calls.
RedCare classic is a Grade 4 intruder & fire alarm signaling device. It is unique monitoring solution constantly monitoring your telephone & your alarm system in the event of an activation or a telephon line beeing cut the alarm receiving center will allert your keyholders or the emergency services within seconds.
Designed to be compliant with existing standards (e.g. DD243) and the introduction of new EN standards as well, RedCare home monitoring is an ideal step up from the digital communicator where previously there was no RedCare dual path service available.
RedCare GSM
RedCare GSM combines a secure RedCare landline connection with a GSM radio backup path. In the event of a line cut it enables alarm systems to be monitored by the radio path.
If the BT landline fails, the ARC will receive a communication failure message. The GSM path will continue to communicate with the alarm receiving centre, sending any subsequent alarms.
RedCare GSM is capable of sending a confirmed activation if either the primary landline or secondary radio path is lost, regardless of which one is lost first.

RedCare GSM enhances the secure RedCare service by using O2’s GSM network. This enables customer premises to be linked to the network via two completely separate landline and radio paths. If one path fails or is interrupted, the alarm receiving centre is informed, and the other continues to monitor any subsequent alarms.
