BS5839 Part 1 If your Fire alarm is not covered by a maintenance programme it does not comply with BS 5839 Part 1.
The standard recommends that your fire alarm is serviced 4 times per year, or not less than twice a year dependant on the size of the system.
The (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales, including the common parts of blocks of flats and houses in multiple occupations
